Sniffy's Home Safety Checklist is a great take-home product to get the whole family involved in practicing natural gas safety. The item is an 12 x 18 inch sheet that folds down to 6 x 9 inches.
The child uses the checklist to perform his/her own home safety audit. Along the way, there are visits to the family room, kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms and outside the home to look for listed safety hazards. For each safe item on the list, the home is awarded points. At the end of the audit, the score is tallied for each room and it is determined whether the home is safe or needs actions to correct safety hazards.
The item contains a panel with instructions of what to do in case you suspect you smell a gas leak.
